Artist Statement
The digital environment has always been the main topic of interest for me, which I address in my work. Digitization, artificial intelligence — these are not just current phenomena in our everyday lives for me; they are what humanity will have to come to terms with and begin to interact with more closely.
At the same time, my art is greatly influenced by my emigration. For over two years, I have been living in exile; my new-temporary-permanent place of residence is Montenegro. This is why my recent works reflect an internal struggle, adaptation, and integration. I increasingly delve into my feelings of isolation, lack of a permanent home, searching for support, and feeling invisible in a new space. I express these feelings and emotions through my digital works. The aesthetics of artificiality and unreality serve as a metaphor for my internal experiences of everything that is happening. This aesthetic is defined by my love for digital media, which I continue to develop in my art.
