Suspended Grammar: Negation
The work Negation explores the simultaneous existence of the word “scary” in Montenegrin (the language of emigration) and Russian (native language). At the center of the circular form, the particle “not” is embroidered as an act of negation. It becomes a mechanism of self-preservation, a minimal grammar of survival.
The hanging threads extend the work into space, functioning as fragile lines of connection, some interrupted, some reconfigured.
Language appears as a suspended structure: stretched, permeable, and continuously rewritten.
